My time in between

My life's just been go, go, go.
I've now been home for over a month, and as I've discussed with some of my friends, it feels like I may not even have actually been in India. Like it was all just one long vivid dream. Nevertheless, I do know that I was there and I have the pictures and experiences to prove it. Also, if that isn't enough, my body isn't quite back to it's normal healthy state that it was before I departed for India.

It's funny how quickly I was able to adapt to life back in Kansas City. I adapted so readily that when I went to New York for new year's and my birthday, I felt so nervous, it was as if I hadn't traveled all around India and flown halfway around the world and back. It's amazing how quickly we can get attached to and comfortable in our surroundings.

No I have a little over three weeks before I leave for Spain, and I look forward to the myriad new experiences that will bring with it. I'm sure that I will be challenged in new ways that I wasn't in India, and I do hope that my life won't be as much as an emotional roller coaster as it was in India. I guess only time will tell.

Stay in tune for my travels in Spain and the rest of Europe. Who knows what will happen. I can't wait. I promise to try and write more this time, not just stop halfway through the semester. Plus, if anything, hopefully the internet connection will be better in Spain than it was in Hyderabad.
